Terms of Purchase
Preface
These terms govern the purchase of legal services offered by Belyaev & Belyaev Law Firm — 10 Kalpaka Boulevard, 5th floor, Riga 1050 Latvia (hereinafter — «Law Firm», «we», «our») by means of credit card through online payment service provided by third party. Please read this document carefully before executing payment for legal services. Executing payment signifies your agreement to be bound by the terms of purchase.
Payment service provider
Payment service by means of credit card is provided exclusively by Swedbank AS (Balasta dambis 15, Riga, LV-1048, Latvia) and its subcontractor EveryPay AS (Tartu mnt 2, 10145 Tallinn, Estonia, subsidiary of AS LHV Pank) — hereinafter, «Swedbank». Executing payment represents your agreement for personal data to be stored and processed by Swedbank. How these companies handle personal data is described in privacy policies of Swedbank and LHV Pank/EveryPay respectively.
Purchase of legal service
Payment request for legal service is initiated on the grounds of an agreement you have entered into with the Law Firm (hereinafter — «Agreement»). The Agreement explicitly states:
- Legal services that Law Firm was assigned by you to perform,
- Amount of renumeration and order in which you undertake to pay for legal service,
- General terms & conditions both parties have agreed to regarding legal service.
Advance payment is requested after you have signed the Agreement and should be made prior to the commencement of the legal service. The payment request form — which is a link provided by Swedbank — is sent to you by the representative of the Law Firm and will explicitly reference your name, the Agreement number and the payment amount.
Delivery of legal service
Upon receiving confirmation from Swedbank that your payment was successfully processed the performance of legal services will commence according to terms outlined in Clause 1 of the Agreement. Representative of the Law Firm will get in touch with you should any additional information will be required.
Remaining payment shall become due and payable within three business days after the legal service is performed.

Withdrawal from the distance contract
If your Agreement with the Law Firm was concluded by means of distance communication such as electronic mail (hereinafter — the Distance Contract) then you can use your right to unilaterally withdraw from the Distance Contract within 14 calendar days from the day of the conclusion thereof, subject to Republic of Latvia Cabinet of Ministers regulations №255, Clause 19.
In the event you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal within the said 14-day withdrawal period the Law Firm will refund the price that you have paid in accordance with the Distance Contract. However, if at your express instruction, the Law Firm has already commenced the performance of the legal services, or if the services have already been completed within the said 14-day withdrawal period, then the Law Firm is entitled to withhold the funds in the amount proportionate to the part of the service that was completed as on the day of receiving your withdrawal notification.
Please note that if you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal it is your duty to notify the Law Firm by email. The inquiry should contain the following mandatory information: name, surname and agreement number.
