General terms
This website is operated by Belyaev & Belyaev Law Firm – 10 Kalpaka Boulevard, 5th floor, Riga 1050 Latvia (hereinafter, «Law Firm» or «we»). This document describes how we store and process your personal data in connection with this website and provided services. Law Firm carefully chose third–party service providers, implemented technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Please note, however, that no method of online storage and processing of data on the internet is 100% safe and Law Firm is not liable for privacy breaches caused by disruptions in third–party services.

Collection and processing of personal data
When you visit our website at belyaev.lv, the internet protocol address of your computer, the date and time of your visit, the names of the files you download, the type and operating system of the browser you use as well as the requesting domain are saved temporarily in a log file on a server maintained by Google. This data will be assessed anonymously for statistical purposes and to improve the quality of our internet presence. No links are made between server log data and personal data.
When you get in touch with us through e-mail or contact forms at belyaev.lv, your name, email address and content of the message are securely stored on Webflow and Google servers and are viewed solely by the Law Firm employee for the purpose of providing you service or helping you resolve technical issues.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy, followed by form submission and/or e-mail letter, represents your agreement for your personal data to be stored and processed.
Use of Cookies & Google Analytics
A cookie is a small software file stored temporarily or placed on your computer’s hard drive. The main purpose of a cookie is to allow a web server to identify a user’s computer and web browser and tailor web pages to a user’s preferences.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. Third–party cookies on our website are set exclusively by Google and as a result we do not have control over them. In general, the information the cookies gather about your use of this website is transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. To provide website visitors the ability to prevent their data from being used by Google Analytics, Google developed the opt–out browser add–on for websites using the supported version of Google Analytics JavaScript (analytics.js, gtag.js). You may download and install this add–on.
We do not set our own first–party cookies.
We do not track or respond to browser «Do Not Track» requests.
Forwarding of personal data to third–parties
If we disclose, transfer or grant access to the data to other persons and companies as part of our data processing, this will be done only on the basis of legal obligation, our legitimate interest, your consent or agreement you entered into with the Law Firm. In such cases, our data processing will be performed by a service provider bound by instructions and obligated under the provisions of data protection law who will not be permitted to use the data for any other purpose. If we commission third–parties to perform the data processing it will be on the basis of Art. 28 EU GDPR.
Duration of storage
The personal data is deleted as soon as the storage purpose no longer applies. It may be stored beyond this if it is required by the European or national legislator in EU directives, laws or other regulations to which Law Firm is subject. The data will be deleted when a storage duration stipulated by the mentioned norms ends.
Please note that your personal data may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights according to applicable EU and local laws:
  • to verify whether (and if so, which) personal data concerning you we have stored and to receive a copy of this data,
  • to request the correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data, which is inaccurate or has been unlawfully processed,
  • to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data and, under certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data or to revoke the consent you gave previously to the processing of your data.
Please note that we will retain a copy of personal data erased at such request to protect our third–party legitimate interests, comply with EU legislation, or to enforce agreement you have entered into with Law Firm. We will have to verify your identity before responding to such requests.
